NEWS/ Jeffery Austin Reveals the Best Advice Gwen Stefani Ever Gave Him on The Voice!!
The Voice will crown its season nine winner tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 15, but the four finalists aren't going out without a fight. Jeffery Austin, Barrett Baber,Emily Ann Roberts and Jordan Smithtook the stage on the Monday, Dec. 14, finale performance show and sang holiday classics, solo songs and duets with their coaches.
"It was really comforting," Austin told E! News' Sibley Scoles about his big duet with coach Gwen Stefani. "It was just kind of like me and her during our rehearsal, it felt like. It was such a cool song. We found a song that just happened to be perfect for both of our voices, strangely enough, because we have very different styles of voices, so I was really happy we found something that we both loved and felt great about."
With the big day looming, were there any nerves on the horizon? "Yeah, I feel like we can all sleep well tonight. There's only going to be one winner, officially, but making the finale was a win for all of us. Everyone wants to win...but it's more of a celebration of our journey on The Voice and an exhibition of who we want to be as artists, more than who's going to win, at least for us on stage. I'm content and so happy with what I gave."
